Designed for the person who
has had little or no stained glass experience, this course will introduce
the fundamental skills of glass cutting and grinding, design enlargement,
soldering and assembling the finished work. Students will complete their
projects using the copperfoil and traditional leading techniques.
Projects will begin
with sun-catchers and as students develop cutting skills will advance
to panels up to four square feet in size. Each student will be free
to choose from a selection of designs provided by the instructor or
create an original design based on personal interest. Cutters, grinder,
running pliers, breakers, glazing hammers, nails etc. will be provided
by instructor.
