In this 3-day workshop, participants will learn to focus their artistic effort to get powerful results. Drawing upon his 35 years of painting experience, instructor Ron Hayes will teach practical techniques throughout this workshop using various methods and approaches to landscape painting. Individual style and creativity will be enhanced as participants build a wider range of applications with mixed media. Individual attention, instructor demonstration and simple guidelines are provided in this workshop.

Ron Hayes is Studio Lecturer at Acadia University in Wolfville, NS where he teaches drawing and painting. Also the owner of Art Can Gallery and Cafe in Canning, his work has been exhibited widely in solo or group shows throughout Nova Scotia, in the states and in Switzerland where he earned a Masters Degree in Expressive Arts. Also an art therapist, he views the creative process as one that benefits most by a comfortable and enjoyable learning experience.
