During this course
the participants will explore a world of colour and design on paper.
They will learn many age-old techniques from both the textile traditions
and fine art realm - all of which can be easily practiced at home and
on the most versatile, varied and obtainable of fibres - paper. The
first half of the course will be devoted to dyeing and patterning paper,
while the last half will focus on creating personal collage imagery.
Samples of a variety of design techniques and numerous books on the
subject will be available as inspiration and resource materials.
