The fundamentals
of landscape painting-on-site with acrylic paints will be the focus
of this five-day workshop. The group will work at a different location
in the historical town of Lunenburg each day, including seascape views
and the waterside architecture. In-depth demonstrations will cover subjects
such as composition, perspective, colour mixing, brush work and portraying
daylight. Exercises will provide a range of challenge to choose from
so that individuals can work comfortably within their own skill level
while expanding their abilities to create on location. Two- or three
day workshops within this session are available upon request. Tuition
will be adjusted accordingly. Enrolment is limited to 10 students.
